Fresh to order

Everything at Sweet Cottage is made fresh for each order, which is why we follow the timings below.

Payments

  • Payment can be made by cash or card (where available).

  • If you pay online but we cannot fulfil the order, we will refund the amount paid.

Lead time

  • Standard orders: minimum 6 hours lead time.

  • Urgent orders: if you need something sooner, we may be able to prepare it in as little as 3 hours for an extra urgent fee (subject to availability).

  • Bulk / business / event orders: typically 24–48 hours, depending on size and items.

Delivery

  • Delivery is available to selected areas. Delivery fees (if any) will be confirmed.

  • Please ensure the address and contact number are correct. If a delivery fails due to incorrect details or no response, redelivery may require an additional fee.

Pickup

  • Pickup is available by arrangement. Please arrive within the agreed time window.

Changes and cancellations

  • Changes are only possible if we have time and ingredients available.

  • Cancellations after preparation has started may not be refundable, especially for urgent or bulk orders.

Refunds and issues

  • Due to the nature of food products, we do not accept returns.

  • If there is an issue (wrong item, missing item, or a clear quality issue on arrival), please contact us within 2 hours of delivery/pickup with photos and we will resolve it where possible (replacement, credit, or refund depending on the case).

Allergens and dietary notes

  • Our kitchen may handle nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and other allergens.

  • “No-Sugar” options are available on selected items, but may not suit every medical diet. Please share allergies or dietary requirements when ordering.

Product appearance

  • Our sweets are handmade, so small differences in appearance are normal. Photos are for guidance.
